Star Wars Battlefront 2 Beta started on October 4th on Xbox One, Playstation 4 and PC and was supposed to end today. EA though decided to give players a little extra time to explore the game’s features by extending the beta until Oct 11 at 4:00 PM UTC. With the beta still on track let’s do a recap of what we are going to encounter when we enter the game these 2 days.

In Star Wars Battlefront 2 Beta you can get your hands on 4 different modes:

  • Galactic Assault: Battle on a series of large team-oriented, objective-based maps with many movie inspired locations, vehicles and characters.
  • Starfighter Assault: Two teams of pilots take control of fighters, bombers, interceptors, and hero ships and engage in multi-stage, objective based space battles
  • Strike: two teams of eight players compete in objective-based scenarios
  • Arcade: 1-2 player mode with offline split-screen support

The Galactic Assault and Arcade modes will take place on Naboo, the Starfighter Assault mode will take place on Fondor, and Strike mode will take place on Takodana. Also, the beta will also feature daily special challenges that will obviously be unique for each day. If you are a PC owner and want to try out the Star Wars Battlefront 2 Beta you can check the minimum and recommended requirements here.

We’ve already seen Microsoft giving away a free weekend of online gaming to Xbox One owners so that they can try out the Star Wars Battlefront 2 Beta but unfortunately this won’t get an extension too.

Don’t forget that everyone who plays the Beta will receive a specially curated “Founder’s Crate” filled with goodies as a thank you from the developers, including credits, an exclusive emote for Darth Maul, and a rare trooper Star Card to give them a head start in battle.

Star Wars Battlefront 2 is releasing on November 17 for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC. Preorders for the game are live on EA Origin, PlayStation Store, and Xbox Marketplace.
