Sony’s E3 press conference was an exciting one as the company gave us the first look at Spider-Man PS4 in action along with Days Gone and other titles. However, many fans were disappointed as they were expecting new games to be announced and according to Sony, it held back some announcements on purpose.
In an interview with Youtube channel, Jagat Review, President of Sony Worldwide Studio, Shuhei Yoshida, was asked if the company plans to show something bigger at Tokyo Game Show or PlayStaiton Experience to which he replied that the company intentionally held back some announcements at E3 2017 and assured that more news from Sony’s teams will come later this year.
It seems that the company will be revealing more exciting news at PlaySataion Experience that will be held later this year hopefully, we might get to see gameplay for The Last Of Us 2 and Death Stranding at the event as both of these were absent from E3 and fans are eager to know more details.
However, this also raises concerns over the importance of Electronic Entertainment Expo in the gaming industry as more and more publishers and devs are moving away from it.
Do you think Sony should jut drop E3 and reveal its games at its PlaySttaion Experience event? Let us know in the comments.
