Sony has added thirteen new Playstation Now games to the service’s catalogue, giving subscribers to the service more games to play. Playstation Now is a service that allows Playstation owners to play games that were on previous versions of the console. A number of the titles are Playstation classics to boot.

The games include Golden Axe, multiple Sonic the Hedgehog games (including the Sonic Adventure games, Sonic the Fighters, Sonic Unleashed…okay they can’t all be gems), Virtua Fighter 2, Super Hang On, Altered Beast, Revenge of Shinobi, and SEGA Bass Fishing.
Many of these games were classics in their own time, and them now being some of the new Playstation Now games allows more people to get a shot at them if they never got the chance to play it before. They will be joining other, more recent games that were put on Playstation Now. These games include Red Dead Redemption, BioShock, Borderlands 2, and more.
Playstation Now, though similar to the Xbox One’s own backwards compatibility service that came out in 2014, is different in a number of ways. Chief among these is the fact that unlike the Xbox One, Playstation Now requires a subscription in order for you to access it. The games are also rented, and streamed to you, rather than being bought directly.
However, depending on what you think of a variety of games, you may think that the price of Playstation Now is worth paying, especially if some of these new Playstation Now games are games that you played with a lot when you were younger.
So, if you want to play any of these new Playstation Now games, all you have to do is log onto Playstation Now and rent them to start playing. Though Sony may be a bit disappointed with the lackluster reception of some of the Sonic games.
