Sea of Thieves, the Xbox One exclusive by Rare surely looked appreciable at E3 2015, however, it appears that the hopes of Microsoft with the game are literally sky high.
I say that based on what Microsoft’s corporate vice president, Kudo Tsunoda, believes. Tsunoda lent some time for the latest issue of Official Xbox Magazine where he discussed the upcoming piratic title.
The user generated stories of the game and the memory driven aspects of the game combined are something that give it an edge over the rest leading to the claim that this will be the best game that the British studio has ever made.
Now that includes three decades worth of video games – take a moment to let that sink in.
I think what you’re gonna see in Sea of Thieves as we go forward and start talking more about the game, is how [the studio is] enabling that kind of player-generated emotional and memory-driven stories that can happen within a game, to happen within Sea of Thieves. And I think that’s what Rare does well.
That’s what we’re going to keep having them doing in the future. And Sea of Thieves is gonna be the best game that Rare has ever made.
He further insisted that Rare is good at creating memories and letting people do the same in this game is what makes it stand apart.
