Prey 2 is going to be announced at E3 2016 during Bethesda’s press conference, according to a claim by one of the authors at Kotaku. Prey 2 has been cancelled for a long time by Bethesda but even before its cancellation rumors of Arkan Austin taking over the project were present.
Now, the latest report claims that Arkane Austin is indeed the studio that is going to introduce Prey 2 reboot at E3. When Bethesda announced its press conference many wondered what are their plans for E3. Fallout 4 is already out, Dishonored release date is announced, Doom is releasing in a couple of days, so what do they have up their sleeves that it worth hosting an entire press event.
Well, Prey 2 is definitely worth it and it is possible that a new Elder Scrolls game is announced as well. We should also expect to see new gameplay for Dishonored.
Keep in mind that this is just a rumor based on one report from one source. It may not happen so no need to get your hopes up just yet.
Prey is a game that deserves as sequel and its been long overdue. Bethesda did something similar last at E3 when it revealed the new DOOM after the original project was cancelled.
