Fans have been waiting for Mario Party 11 for quite some time and it seems that it might be coming in 2019 if the rumor is to be believed that suggests ND Cube is working on Mario Party 11 for Nintendo Switch.
The rumor comes from a well-known industry insider, Marcus Sellars, who posted on his Twitter account that the developer ND Cube is working on Mario Pary 11 and will launch in 2019.
However, given that it is just a rumor, take it as a grain of salt until Nintendo officially announces the game. Also, Mario Kart is coming to iPhone and Android devices in March 2019.
In related news, President of Nintendo, Tatsumi Kimishima, has noted that Nintendo plans to support Nintendo Switch way past its traditional 5-6 years console cycle.
While it has its pros like those who own a Switch will be able to play games for a foreseeable future but, the downside is that we might not see any new Nintendo console for a while, however, Nintendo might slightly improve the hybrid console down the line like the Nintendo 3DS XL.
Furthermore, Switch has already surpassed Wii U’s lifetime sales with 14.86 Million units sold and Nintendo expects the console to ship 18 million units by March 2018.
