Call of Duty Bloodlines is what’s next from Infinity Ward, according to a new rumor. The information came from Geno who is known for leaking plenty of Nintendo NX and Pokemon details. He didn’t have any details of the game itself but he gave us something really interesting to talk about.
Nintendo is working with Activision to bring Call of Duty Bloodlines to NX this Fall as a launch title, along with Skylanders.
NX is rumored to release in Fall and Nintendo would need some big third party names to glorify its release, what’s better than Call of Duty?
The leak also mentioned that Nintendo is in talks with Platinum Games to launch Spider-Man: The First Avenger in early 2017 on NX.
However, the biggest news of them all here is that Nintendo is apparently giving “hard bargains” to Activision so it will bring “Beyond Destiny,” a sequel to Destiny, on NX in Fall 2017.
- Activision plans on bringing Skylanders at launch to the NX along with the next Call of Duty game called “Bloodlines” in Fall 2016. In 2017, the company will team up with Platinum Games to launch Spider-Man: The First Avenger which will tie into the MCU movie and universe.
- Activision is also being given “hard bargains” by Nintendo to have BETA access to “Beyond Destiny”, the sequel to Destiny which plans to launch Holiday 2017.
- Activision is interested in bringing Beyond Destiny to NX due to the fact you can play local and online multiplayer between units at the same time as well that the new mainline Pokémon games will not only guarantee a big NX user base but a new type of audience they can bring into the franchise.
- If this deal comes into fruition, Activision will release a “complete” version of the first Destiny game on NX in early 2017.
Although Geno has a good track record but we would still be filing this under rumor. E3 is a few months away and Sony will be showing the next COD. Activision will be skipping the event so its partner Sony will do the honors.
