The successor of Road Rash, Road Redemption is finally making it’s way to Nintendo Switch after making its way to PC, Mac, and Linux last year.
The action racing game Road Redemption was originally announced in 2013 for the Wii U. And today, the official Road Redemption Twitter account revealed that the Nintendo Switch version is “definitely in the works”.
Initially, the devs posted a Tweet telling that they are working on some “exciting things” and they will announce the details soon which was followed by a Tweet sent out by a fan asking if there is a Switch version. It took about a day but Official Road Redemption account announced that Switch version is in works.
If you don’t know what Road Redemption is, It’s a crazy racing game where everyone can drive bikes at full speed on freeways and highways while escaping from the police and opponents. We have the option to hit each other, attack enemies making them fall on the group to take the lead which is my own favorite thing to do.
There are also different abilities, weapons available to use like bats to attack and drop rivals from their bikes. The game has an online option and also a split screen mode for up to four players which is really fun to play with your friends and family.
It’s really good to see Nintendo Switch library being extended with another racing game which will allow the players to have endless fun on the go. Road Redemption also has 82% positive user reviews on Steam which will tell you how much good the game really is.
We don’t have a release date yet for the game but as E3 2018 is just around the corner we can expect it to be announced there.
