Respawn Entertainment has already confirmed in the past that they are working on a new Star Wars: Jedi Fallen Order game though that’s all we know about it. But thanks to the latest remarks from EA which suggest that the upcoming Titanfall 3 and Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order will release sometime in 2019.
EA revealed through their quarterly financial report that their newly acquired Respawn Entertainment is working on a number of games and these could launch by the next holiday season.
Anthem has won more than ninety awards, including recognition as one of the most anticipated games of the year, and player feedback continues to be highly positive through our pre-launch testing. We can’t wait to see this game come alive for fans at launch and through the long-term live service to come. Across multiple studios, we have new projects underway, including games from Respawn that are slated to launch by next holiday season.
It’s obvious that EA has plans for their upcoming Anthem in February but after that, they have not talked about any other games. Now we are not sure about the release date but it’s a guess that Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order could release earlier like Battlefront 2. We are most likely to hear about these new projects at EA Play 2019 so we will have to wait.
The second game is expected to be Titanfall 3 which we hope that doesn’t release at the same time as Titanfall 2 did. Titanfall 2 was released a week from Battlefield 1 and it’s one of the reasons it didn’t sell that well.
Overall, Titanfall 2 was an amazing game and I personally finished it in no time while also grabbing the platinum so I’m definitely excited for Titanfall 3.
Well no matter what those upcoming games are, 2019 is going to be another huge year for the gaming industry. We will let you know once EA or Respawn open up about these projects in works.
Until then you can check out Titanfall 2 if you haven’t. It does have a great story and the game mechanics are great. It’s quite similar to Infinity Warfare if you are someone who plays Call Of Duty a lot.
