Resident Evil CG movie is under development at Capcom, according to a new announcement made by the studio. Responsibilities of the executive producer will be taken up by Takashi Shimizu, a Japanese filmmaker, best known for being the creator of the Japanese Ju-on series and American The Grudge franchise.
Direction will be provided by Takanori Tsujimoto, the man behind movies such as Hard Revenge Milly, Bushido Man, Red Tears and more.
Meanwhile, Kenji Kawai is behind its music and it’s being written by Fukami Makoto. MARZA, a popular CG animation studio will handle CG works for Biohazard/Resident Evil movie.
Surely, you would like to know about the cast and which characters will appear in the movie. Well, you can expect to see Leon. S. Kennedy, Rebecca, and Chris Redfield. More information in this regard will be shared later, but it is safe to say Umbrella Corps and possibly Albert Wesker may appear.
Capcom is planning to release Resident Evil CG movie sometime in 2017. Fans are also speculating that this may be tied-in with PlayStation VR. If that is the case, we can expect an amazing horror experience using Sony’s VR.
