After 4K and HDR being confirmed by Capcom, new information have been revealed about Resident Evil 7 Cross-Save and more.
Windows Central have recently talked with Capcom Europe, that have stressed the presence of Resident Evil 7 Cross-Save between PC and Xbox One.
“Resident Evil 7 Windows Store version will allow players to share their own data with Xbox One. There’s nothing more to say at the moment.”
Moreover, Resident Evil 7 will also support 4K resolution on PC and UWP, being ready to be played on Project Scorpio.

However, fans of the series fear that Resident Evil could be a flop, not living to the series name nor being scary enough.
But we may be lucky, since Capcom wants to return to its roots with this chapter.
During an interview with OPM UK, Resident Evil 7 producer Masachika Kawata revealed the different factors that help making a good horror game. Everyone of them is important.
You need to create situations that combine together aspects of shock and surprise with the instinctive fear we all feel for the unknown. Dark rooms that make you fear the possible enemies walking around, shock scenes like creatures suddenly bursting through windows. Every single moment adds up to a really good, horror experience.
Let’s hope that Capcom didn’t forget how to make good horror games.
At least we can give Resident Evil 7 a try, forgetting about nostalgia and the general idea about the previous chapter, always seen as masterpieces (even if they had some flaws).
Resident Evil 7 is scheduled to release on January 24, 2017 for Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and PC.
