Recently, we came across speculations mentioning compatibility between upcoming Nintendo NX and PS4. The said speculations came from a report by Macquarie Capital Securities in Japan which has now been unearthed.
In case you were rooting for the speculation to be true, you are in for a disappointment as the report states:
It’s possible the NX works with PS4 or PC’s which would be a major change for Nintendo and be a positive.
In addition to this, the report states that an NX product was pushed forward to November 2016 from November 2017. This product is believed to be a portable device from Nintendo which will be followed by a home console in the coming year.
Moreover, it is also believed that the handheld version will cost less than $250. Last but not the least, it is believed that Nintendo NX will definitely work with smartphones unlike PCs and Playstation 4 which seems reasonable considering Nintendo Accounts and MyNintendo.
