According a recent report, Konami has secured licenses to two Brazilian clubs which will be exclusive to PES 2016.
Reportedly, Flamengo and Corinthians have signed to appear exclusively in PES 2016 and will not appear in EA’s FIFA 16 at all.
The latest report from Mirror seems to contradict several others stating that FIFA 16 will possibly witness the return of the Brasileirao League and has secured licenses with some of the leading teams in Brazil’s top division. Whatever the case is, we are sure to hear anything from either Konami or EA Sports in some time.
Whether or not the recent report stands accurate, we know for a certainty that Konami has secured UEFA Champions League License for another 3 years as confirmed by Konami itself:
The agreement allows Konami to feature both the UEFA Champions League and UEFA Europa League club competitions within its many options, with both featured as individual modes or within the larger season overview upon qualification – with the UEFA Super Cup featured within the iconic Master League mode.
FIFA 16 is scheduled to arrive on Sept. 25, 2015 for PC, Xbox One, Playstation 4, Playstation 3, and Xbox 360. PES 2016, on the other hand, will release on Sept. 15, 2016 for the same platforms.
