Over the past weeks, we had news for many big studios revealing their next projects at E3 2018. After getting to know that CD Projekt Red will be attending the conference with Cyberpunk 2077, Remedy is joining the ranks with their new game according to the publisher, 505 Games.
Remedy’s codenamed Project 7 will be revealed at E3 2018 and 505 Games will be the one giving its first hands-off to the press.
We still don’t know much about Project 7, other than it will be a cinematic third-person game, multiplayer-centric, set in a new universe. As for its versions, Project 7 will be available on PC, Playstation 4 and Xbox One. With Microsoft no longer being Remedy’s publisher, Project 7 can now get released on Sony’s console along with the others. The game is set for release somewhere in 2019.
Project 7 will be using the Northlight technology that also powered Quantum Break. With that, a lot of improvements are being made in the artificial intelligence, animation, and multiplayer sections of the game.
According to Remedy latest financial report, the company is working on two new titles, one of which is Project 7. The other is still unannounced and we shouldn’t expect information about it getting revealed soon. Furthermore, Remedy will reportedly launch a third title but its still in the recruitment phase.
Remedy’s upcoming title codenamed Project 7 is set to be revealed at E3 2018 by both Remedy and 505 Games. That’s when we’ll know more about its potential release date and hopefully its first gameplay footage or trailer.
The exact release date of the game codenamed, Project 7 has not been given although one thing is for sure that it will be rolling out sometime in 2019 and will be available on PC, Xbox One and PlayStation 4.
