Rockstar finally released the gameplay of Red Dead Redemption 2 yesterday and it was absolutely beautiful and stunning with over 6 minutes of total footage showing us what’s coming including camps, activities, companions, rivalries and more.
There’s still something that you have missed out in the trailer, the whole trailer was captured in-game on a PlayStation 4 Pro running at 4K resolution. This confirmation came from a footnote below the trailer video from Rockstar.
Captured entirely from in-game footage on PlayStation 4 Pro, watch this introduction to Red Dead Redemption 2’s gameplay in 4K.
Now, this note confirms that the in-game video was all captured on PS4 Pro. Though for Xbox One X users, official Xbox website has confirmed that the game will run at 4K on Xbox One and it is “Xbox One X Enhanced.”
Interestingly, it’s also written that these enhanced features will come in a content update which makes us think that it could be also the case with PS4 Pro.
As for the trailer, it shows us the beautiful landscapes of the in-game world and as well as the mechanics of the game which allow you to interact with NPCs and you can even make friends or enemies.
Red Dead Redemption 2 includes slow motion feature which looks inspired by Splinter Cell. You have the ability to slow down time, tag enemies and take them all at once which will be really interesting to use and we can’t wait to finally use it when the game arrives.
After watching the gameplay trailer of the game, we are now more than just sure that the Red Dead Redemption 2 will definitely sell well and if somehow RockStar manages to add multiplayer mode in the game, it will be a huge game changer after the success of GTA V online.
