In Red Dead Redemption 2, there are many side quests along with the main storyline that will keep players busy for a long time. Completing these side quests will unlock different types of rewards ranging from respect to other valuable items. In this guide, we will talk about one such Red Dead Redemption 2 quest where you need to find the location of a book called Shrew in the Fog for Hosea.

At the beginning of Chapter 2, a side quest can be started by talking to Hosea at the group camp. You will have the option to look at the book on the table.
If you choose to examine it, you will be given the side quest to locate a specific novel that Hosea would like to read. The quest will automatically start, but you will only be rewarded if you find out the location of the novel.
To complete this side quest, you will have to find the Shrew in the Fog Book in RDR2. This guide explains the location.
Once you start the RDR2 side quest, head to the east part of the map highlighted as “Bayou”. Make your way to the area known as “Hagen Orchards”, just north-west of Saint Denis.
There will be a cabin within this region. If you cannot find the cabin, open the map and set a waypoint just under the “O” in Bayou. This will take you to the area of the cabin.
Once you locate the cabin, enter it and search for the book. The book will be found on the coffee table present in the main room. Pick the book up to get it into your inventory. The book will be titled “The Shrew of the Fog”.
Now to finish the quest, you must deliver the book to Hosea at the camp. He will reward you with predator bait. Predator bait is a really useful item as it is used to track and defeat the Legendary Animals in the game.
Note: This errand is missable, it’s only available in Chapters 2-4! You can only find the book before the end of Chapter 4. So, if you want to complete this side quest, keep this in mind.
