Red Dead Redemption 2 Reveal at E3 2016? Rockstar’s Website Drops Hints

According to a new listing under Red Dead games on Rockstar Games' website, Red Dead Redemption 2 might be coming. Reveal at E3 2016?

If I had a dime for every time the internet said the word Red Dead Redemption 2, I would have been much richer than now… but that doesn’t mean there is no way on earth this new rumor can be true! We have picked up definite hints at the game right from the lion’s den i.e. the official website of Rockstar Games.

Red Dead Redemption 2 Reveal Incoming at E3 2016?

Of course they did not literally mention the game in there, but what happened was that a new listing popped up under the Red Dead section of their website – this is where all the game in the series are listed including Red Dead Revolver, Red Dead Redemption and Red Dead Undead Nightmare.

The fourth listing was not given a name, rather it was being referred to with a placeholder text: “hiddentext.” The listing also mentioned something about an official website, but led to no where.

Naturally, this was put up there by Rockstar Games themselves mistakenly; this was evidenced by the listing being removed soon after it went up. However we were able to get our hands on screenshots of the listing.

This is clearly in line with the rumor that sparked after a Rockstar Games employee mentioned Red Dead Redemption 2 on their LinkedIn profile under past work experiences. However, the next game might not even be Red Dead Redemption 2, instead it could be Red Dead Badlands, if the PlayStation Germany Store is to be believed.

Needless to say, when Take Two Interactive teased that they have something big planned for E3 2016, it was immediately related by the fans to the much awaited reveal of the next game in the series.

Could all these unconfirmed news actually hold water when E3 2016 starts in Los Angeles? Could we really get Red Dead Redemption 2 or Red Dead Badlands? Why else would there be a new entry in the list of Red Dead games and that too in the form of a listing on the official website of Rockstar Games?
