Another Red Dead Redemption 2 PC reference has appeared online. A GTAforums’ member ‘rollschuh2282’ has recently shared some Red Dead Redemption 2 PC graphics settings.
The leaker claims that these settings were extracted from RDR2: Companion, an application available on iOS and Android mobile devices. We advise everyone to treat the provided information as a rumor for now until Rockstar Games and Take-Two Interactive confirm anything.
Red Dead Redemption 2 PC Graphics
The mentioned graphics settings for Red Dead Redemption in the companion app include Graphics, Display, System, Audio and more. Among these settings, there’s a mention of DirectX 12 which indicates that the game will support Microsoft’s latest version of DirectX.
In addition to this, the leaker notes that there’s an Ultra preset graphics option available for RDR 2 PC ( a preset not found in GTA V). Those interested in the leaked companion app codes can check them all out via GTA Forums.
So if the rumors are to be believed, Take-Two and Rockstar Games will officially announce the game for PC users soon.
This is not the first time that something has hinted towards the PC version of Red Dead Redemption 2. It’s rumored for a long time that the game is finally coming to PC.
As we reported before, another RDR 2 PC reference was discovered last week via the source code of Rockstar’s Social Club.
The code mentioned “RDR2_PC_Accomplishments” right next to “RDR2_PS4_Trophies”, suggesting that the PC version of the game is on its way. In addition to this, RDR 2 PC was also leaked via the resume of former Rockstar developer.
The fact that Red Dead Redemption 2 is coming to PC is now quite evident. #RDR2 #reddeadredemption2pc #RedDeadRedemption2 #rdr2pc #reddeadredemption

With that said, it’s certain at this point that RDR 2 will arrive on PC. We can’t think of a reason why Take-Two and Rockstar will miss the opportunity of making more money by releasing the game on PC.
Until that happens, players can play Red Dead Redemption 2 on Microsoft Xbox One and Sony PlayStation 4.
In related news, Red Dead Online is finally out of beta and Rockstar Games continues to update it with new features and modes. The latest Red Dead Online update is now available. It gives players a chance to earn a new Explorer Care Package by completing 10 challenges before July 16. Explorer care package includes 60 Poison Arrow, 100 rounds of Varmint Cartridges and .22 caliber rounds.
Apart from that, Panthers are also available in RDR 2. These panthers can be hunted down and skinned for crafting materials. Those interested in spawn locations of Panther in RDR 2 Online should check out the video below.
We can expect Red Dead Redemption 2 to release during April 2020 if Rockstar follows the footsteps of GTA V’s release on PC. Whenever it happens, we will make sure to let you know first so stay tuned.
