Yesterday an article posted at Gamespot stated that Tekken 7 Fated Retribution which is launching this year is going to be PlayStation 4 exclusive. The article is taken down for the reasons explained by series community adviser Mark Julio.
Mark Julio was asked on twitter about the Playstion 4 exclusivity and and removal of the article, Julio said that the article is taken down for inaccuracy and weirdness, but on the contrary Michael Murray who is one of the game designers has said that Tekken 7 Fated Retribution has only been confirmed for PlayStation 4.
The release of Tekken 7 Fated Retribution on home consoles is still a mystery. Michael Murray recently said that its up to the management to release the game on other consoles even though the team would love to bring their game on Xbox one.
Considering how close Bandai Namco is working with Nintendo for Wii U and other 3DS titles, it would be a no surprise if the game is released on rumored Nintendo NX.
The original Tekken 7 has only been released for arcade and Fated Retribution will come with some enhancements and improvements over the original and also some additional characters. Among the new characters of the game is Akuma from Street Fighter Series and most likely will be a guest character of Tekken 7 Fated Retribution.
The release date For Tekken 7 Fated Retribution has not been announced only confirmed news is that it will be PlayStation 4 exclusive.
