Project Cars 2 is one of the most notable titles to launch later this year and fans are excited to see what the game has to offer. Project Cars 2 is just over a month away from launch and the file size for the Xbox One version of the game has been revealed.
Project Cars 2 will take 36.39 GB of your Xbox One HDD space according to the listing on Xbox marketplace. The file size for the game is relatively average given that games these days tend to take up to 50 GB of hard drive space especially the PC versions.
In related news, Project Cars 2 will launch for both PS4 Pro and Xbox One X, however, Slightly Mad Studios has promised that the game’s performance will not be compromised on Xbox One X because of PS4 Pro. According to game director Stephen Viljoen, while he can’t detail the specifics but, added that Project Cars 2 will see significant improvements on Xbox One X compared to PS4 Pro.
I can’t tell you exactly what all the various sliders will be at when you’re on Xbox One X versus on PS4 Pro, but obviously they’ll be higher, so there will be a significant, a noticeable improvement, because you have better hardware.
Also, SLightly Mad Studios has confirmed that Project Cars 2 will run at native 4K and 60 FPS on Xbox One X and added that they have not yet decided the resolution for Sony’s PlayStation 4 Pro.
The game will feature 180 cars at launch with 60 tracks and up to 130 layout variations. The game will also feature Porsche cars following the expiry of EA’s exclusivity contract.
Project Cars 2 is an upcoming racing simulator game in development at Slightly Mad Studios and will launch in 2017 for PC, Xbox One and PlayStation 4.
