After you have reached Motostoke and are wandering in the area, you are going to come across a group of kids who have lost their Minccino. You have to interact with the kids and one of them is going to tell you about it.
“My Minccino really likes to play in the water, and it also likes the sound of whistling!. It doesn’t take a genius to figure out that you need to find a body of water and whistle when you are nearby.
This sets you on a mission to find the Minccino and also gives you hints that it is going to be near a water body and you have to whistle when you are near it in order for it to come out.
With this information in mind, you are going to start your journey to find a fountain near the location.
Luckily for you, the Motostoke Stadium is near you which has a fountain around it. First, you have to go to Motostoke Stadium.
Once there, walk past the stadium entrance and head to where you registered for your Gym Challenge. You are going to come across two fountains.
You have to go to the fountain on your left side and you are going to hear a voice. Start whistling at this point and soon the Minccino is going to come out and return to the owner.
You have to head back to where the group of those kids were and interact with them. You are going to be rewarded with a Throat Spray on completing the quest.
The Throat Spray is going to increase your special attack stats when a Pokemon uses any kind of a ‘sound’ move.
