Playstation 4 Price Cut Leads to Big Sales Increase in Japan

Latest software and hardware sales in Japan reveal a surge in Playstation 4 sales in Japan after the company cut the price at the Tokyo Game Show

The weekly hardware and software sales from Japan have been revealed and as expected, price cuts lead to a rise in sales. It looks like the PlayStation 4 has done well from the timely change in price at the Tokyo Game Show, probably better than even Sony would have expected.

Below is the full breakdown of first software sales, then hardware:

As you can see the PlayStation 4 had a huge increase in sales which for the most part will have been because of the price cut, but also may have benefited from some of the games on show at that time too. This is obviously good news for Sony.
