PlayStation VR games are now listed on PlayStation Store and it looks like their prices will vary depending on whether it is a VR experience or a full fledged VR title.
According to PlayStation Store:
- Hustle Kings VR – $17.99 PlayStation VR Worlds – $34.99
- RIGS: Mechanized Combat League – $54.99
- Super Stardust Ultra VR – $17.99
- Until Dawn: Rush of Blood – $17.99
Sony supports short burst VR experiences and that is exactly what the company will be focusing on in the future. However, that doesn’t mean AAA titles won’t come to PlayStation VR.
At E3 2016, Sony announced Batman Arkham VR, Final Fantasy XV, and Resident Evil 7. Other PlayStation VR games in development include:
- Ace Banana
- Stifled
- O! My Genesis VR
- Weeping Doll
- Pixel Gear
- Phantom World
- Dying Reborn
- The School: Swan Song
- Mortal Blitz VR
- The Occasional Encounter
- Mixip
- Kill X VR
- Unearthing Mars
Sony is expected to list more PlayStation VR games on PlayStation Store.
The device itself is coming out in October for $399 and pre orders are now live. However, finding a unit to pre order is a completely different story. Sony will make more units available to users soon.
PlayStation VR price will decrease over time as hardware becomes cheaper. Its performance will increase and it will surely benefit from PlayStation 4 Neo’s upgraded hardware.
Speaking of PlayStation 4 Neo, rumor has it that Sony will reveal this device in September. We already know that Sony isn’t coming to Gamescom so it is planning to reveal the console in New York on September 7, the report mentioned.
