You can find several hidden Fairies in The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time throughout your quests. These Fairies reward you with powerful magic spells and power-ups that are handy during combat. Great Fairy Fountains
Spin Attack
Location. Take a left at the red flag down the death mountain trail. Climb up and jump across to the other side. Blow the rock blocking the path with a bomb, it’s all about timing your run and blasting the rock here. Cross down the path until Volcano is erupting.
Block the rocks with your Hylian shield and once they stop, walk down the mountain until volcano erupts again. Get to the end and continue making your way to the top. Once you reach the top, bomb the cracked wall leading you to the fairy.
Din’s Fire
Location. Blow the rock which is next to gate of the Hyrule Castle, you’ll now see a passage which will lead you to this. You can equip it from the inventory and then press the C button to use it.
Farore’s Wind
Location. Place a bomb beside the rock located at the opposite end of the frozen lake where Jabu-Jabu used to be. This will blow up the wall behind it leading to this Fairy Fountain.
Longer Magic Meter
Location. Break the two rocks beside the entrance of the Death Mountain. You can go to the entrance of the Death Mountain by going through Darunia’s throne room.
Naryu’s Love
Location. Go towards the Northern side of the Spirit Temple as the Adult Link, you will find a cracked tree which you need to bomb for this fountain. It grants you invincibility for a short period of time.
Half Damage
Location. Lift up the giant pillar outside the Ganon’s Castle using Golden Gauntlet. Pillar is located in the same area you found Din’s fire in.
Fairy Locations
Sacred Forest Meadow Fountain
You can climb up a ladder by the staircase that you used to go to Saria and the Forest Temple. Once you reach the top, you will come across a a hole in the small gap in the middle of the maze. Jump in and you’ll find the Fairy Fountain.
Kakariko Village Graveyard Fountain
There is a grave that has a bunch of flowers on it in the first row. You can open it and enter the hole underneath. There you will find a wall, along with a treasure chest containing a Piece of Heart. Destroy the wall with a bomb to find the Fairy Fountain.
Hyrule Field Fountain
Head to the northwest corner of this area and cross the stream until you encounter a Peahat. Once you defeat it, you can spot a boulder that you can destroy with bombs to uncover a hole. Enter it and you will find the Fairy Fountain.
Zora’s River Fountain
This fountain is on a high ledge within the south-central section of the river. The younger version of you can get to it by bringing a Cucco from the entrance of the river to its east end. From there, toss the Cucco up ahead and make your way up the platforms and head to the bridge with the Cucco.
Turn around and look to where the water splits off in two directions and follow the stream west by using the Cucco. Land on the ledge that has a ladder. Climb up the ladder and you will find a boulder that you can blow up to find the Fairy Fountain.
Gerudo’s Fortress Fountain
When venturing through this area’s ground level tunnels, you may come across an area filled with wooden crates that has two entrances. The Shard of Agony will start chiming once you pass the wooden crates on the right and that is your cue to start playing the Song of Storms. This will form a hole that you can jump down to find the Fairy Fountain.
Desert Colossus Fountain
There is a dried up pond on the Southern end of this area with a rock nearby on which Navi will turn green. Play the Song of Storms while standing on the rock and water will come flowing to fill the Oasis. This fill form the fairy fountain.
Zora’s Domain Fountain
Jump off from the ledge to the left of the entrance and land in the water. You will find a tiny island there where you can play the Song of Storms. Once a hole opens up, enter it to get the Fairy Fountain
