Nvidia is yet to announce its next-gen gaming GPUs but, rumors and leaks have been popping up for past few months regarding their specs and release date. This time a leak has made its way on the internet revealing specs for Nvidia RTX 2080 Ti with 11 GB of GDDDR6 memory.
Aside from the specs for the Nvidia RTX 2080 Ti the leak also revealed alleged specs for Nvidia RTX 2070 and Nvidia RTX 2080.
The specs for the RTX 2080 Ti are truly incredible and it will be interesting to see how powerful it is since leaked benchmarks reveal that Nvidia RTX 2080 is equivalent of Titan V in terms of performance.
According to the leak, the Nvidia RTX 20180 Ti will feature 11 GB of GDDR6 memory while the RTX 2080 will be keeping the 8 GB VRAM like the GTX 1080.
However, unlike GTX 1080 the RTX 2080 will feature GDDR6 memory which offers higher bandwidth compared to GDDR5. Furthermore, the Nvidia RTX 2080 Ti will feature 352-bit memory bus.
Aside from the RTX 2080 Ti, the leak also reveals Turing architecture based Nvidia Titan GPU with 12 GB of GDDR6 memory along with 384-bit memory bus.
While we are waiting for the next-gen gaming GPU but Nvidia has revealed its RTX Quadro GPUs based on the Turing architecture. Nvidia has announced Quadro RTX 8000, Quadro RTX 6000 and Quadro RTX 5000 GPUs.
Aside from bringing a new architecture, Nvidia has combined new RT Cores with new Tensor Cores for the AI. Meaning the AI will help the users to provide the best possible result for their work.
According to Nvidia CEO, Jensen Huang, Nvidia Turing is the most important GPU innovation in over a decade that will change the industry or sure.
Turing is NVIDIA’s most important innovation in computer graphics in more than a decade. Hybrid rendering will change the industry, opening up amazing possibilities that enhance our lives with more beautiful designs, richer entertainment and more interactive experiences. The arrival of real-time ray tracing is the Holy Grail of our industry.
However, we might not see real-time ray tracing support for the GTX 1160 and other low-end next-gen Nvidia gaming GPUs. Furthermore, these GPUs are expected to be revealed on August 20th if the rumors are to be believed.
