One of the biggest and most highly anticipated games currently in development won’t get an open or closed beta. According to CD Projekt RED, Cyberpunk 2077 won’t be getting any playtests. The single player title will release on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC without giving players an opportunity to try the experience.
But no one is ruling out a demo for those who preorder the game.
The official Twitter account for Cyberpunk was asked if the game will get an open/closed beta. The response disappointed many. According to CD Projekt RED’s official Twitter account confirmed that Cyberpunk 2077 won’t be getting an open or closed beta prior to its release date.

There is no release date for Cyberpunk 2077 for now but there are many reports that state the game is releasing in 2020. CD Projekt RED also confirmed that there won’t be an exclusive deal with Epic Games Store.
Over the past few months, Epic Games has signed exclusive deals with Ubisoft, Deep Silver, and other developers to bring games to its store. However, the community isn’t too happy about the matter and there has been some serious backlash.
Many wondered if Cyberpunk 2077 would make a similar deal with Epic Games Store. That is not the case as the game will release on Steam. However, there is no confirmation for an Epic Games Store release.
Cyberpunk 2077 gameplay demo was shared by the developers at E3 2018 and it was our first in-depth look at the title. Since then, it has been totally silent from CD Projekt RED.
Cyberpunk 2077 will release on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC. The game is likely to release on PlayStation 5 and the next Xbox. According to the latest report, the next Xbox is called Xbox Lockhart and Xbox Anaconda, yes, there are two variants of the next Xbox console.
