Nioh is one of the critically acclaimed games launches of this year for PS4 and the game is making its way to PC in a few days, however, the game will not take advantage of the mouse on PC as developer Team Ninja has revealed that Nioh will not have mouse support.
The news comes from the recent press release for the studio confirming that Nioh on PC will not support the mouse. Interestingly, Nioh: The Complete Edition will have keyboard support but according to the studio, players will get the best experience with a controller.
The obvious comparison of this game can only be with the Dark Souls games which themselves had issues of bad PC controls and the first Dark Souls is known for notoriously bad PC controls. However, a mod will more or less fix this issues but, games like Dark SOuls are best played with a controller.
The PC version of the game dubbed “The Complete Edition” will include all the DLC for Nioh released till now on PS4 Dragon of the North, Defiant Honour, and Bloodshed’s End.
The game follows the adventures of William a “Golden Haired Samurai” in pursuit on an enemy and has to traverse through a fictionalized version of the Sengoku period. The game features a variety of enemies especially boss battles are just amazing. The was a critical hit when it launched for PS4 earlier this year.
Also, it has been confirmed that the PC version of the game will not use Denuvo DRM which helps prevent piracy when the game came out on PC. While no reason was shared as to why the game will not use it but, it is a good sign since this DRM has been criticized for making PC games difficult o play.
Nioh is an action-RPG developed by Team Ninja for PlayStation and the PC version will drop on November 7, 2017.
