No Man’s Sky patch 1.08 is now live on PlayStation 4 and PC. The patch attempts to fix many of the game’s notable issues. Hello Games kept an eye on fan feedback and released the update accordingly.
No Man’s Sky patch 1.07 released only a few days ago and we already have patch 1.08. This gets to show just how much work needs to go into the game.
After the patch went live, many users reported that they are still having issues interacting with crashed ship debris. This means that No Man’s Sky will get more support patches in the coming days.

What matters now, as always, is what we do rather than what we say. We’re developers, and our focus is first on resolving any issues people have with the game as it is, then on future free updates which will improve, expand and build on the No Man’s Sky universe.

It never mattered what they said because whatever they said never made it to the final game. The studio has been accused of lying to the community, plagiarism from a couple of parties and what not.
No Man’s Sky sales dropped 81% after the initial rush calmed. Moreover, players were seen asking for refunds over at Steam and PlayStation Store. The situation got so bad that Steam had to make many exceptions to its policy and offer refunds to the community.
