It’s always hard to deal with problems related to Nintendo’s current-gen consoles. For example their eShop always links content to the device, so you better not lose your console if you don’t want your digital games to disappear too.
These problems have been annoying Nintendo costumers for years, but things will change with Nintendo Switch eShop (it seems).
YouTuber FloKO has received a retail copy of the console and has then decided to post an unboxing video. What matters the most however, is that this video showed a short disclaimer basically confirms that Nintendo Switch eShop content will be linked to the account rather than to the device.
Switch’s disclaimer says:
Your Nintendo Account contains your Nintendo eShop purchase history and current balance. By re-linking your Nintendo Account after initializing the console, it will be possible to redownload any software or DLC purchased using that account. (Software that has been discontinued may not be available to redownload in some cases.)

Bur there’s even more interesting information about Nintendo Switch that has been recently revealed. Nintendo Switch’s leak has showed the exact amount of free space of the console and it’s 25.9 GB. Considering that company has stated that the console will have 32 GB, it means that the OS takes almost 6.1 GB.
However, things are not as bad as they may seem. Nintendo Switch’s space can be expanded up to 2 TB via microSDXC, furthermore Nintendo’s software works in a different way from other traditional consoles.
