The Next Generation Xbox One is being worked on right now. This is what Phil Spencer had to say at the Microsoft conference at E3 2018. While there is little that we know about the upcoming console, it is still good to know that there is something in the works. Chances are that the Next Generation Xbox One will not be coming out for the next year or so.
According to Phil Spencer:
“deep into architecturing the next Xbox console, where we will once again deliver on our commitment to deliver the benchmark of console gaming.”
Microsoft has made a couple of announcements at E3 2018 and these include Cyberpunk 2077, Dying Light 2, Shadow of the Tomb Raider, Forza Horizon 4 and much more. The Xbox One X is already capable of offering 4K 60 FPS in a select few games and you can expect the Next Generation Xbox One to offer the same but in more games.
While that might not seem to be something mainstream for consoles in 2018, remember that the Next Generation Xbox One is not coming out this year and it is highly likely that it won’t be coming out before 2020. Keeping that in mind, it is likely that 4K will have become mainstream by then. It will be interesting to see what kind of features Next Generation Xbox One will have to offer now that Microsoft is not only bringing their games to the console but PC as well.
It is rumored that PS5 is also coming around 2021, so the next Xbox Will also be coming around the same time. It should be interesting indeed to see what both companies are going to be bringing forward.
Let us know what you think about the upcoming Next Generation Xbox One and whether or not this is something that you are interested in.
