New Ni No Kuni 2 Screenshots Show Off A Colorful World Full Of Life

New Ni No Kuni 2 screenshots have been released by Famitsu, showing off a colorful world full of vibrant characters that's sure to fill your time for the next few months.

With Ni No Kuni 2: Revenant Kingdom coming closer and closer to release (late March of this year, specifically), the Japanese magazine Famitsu has released a number of Ni No Kuni 2 screenshots, showing off the vibrant and colorful world that we’ll be traveling around when the game releases on March 23, 2018.

Ni No Kuni 2 takes place in the world of the previous game, Ni No Kuni: Wrath of the White Witch. Set hundreds of years in the future from that game, players control a young prince of the Cat Tribe, who is forced to flee his kingdom by a coup and must now travel to get stronger and reclaim his throne. Players have the ability to use spirits known as Higgledies to cast spells as well.

From what we see in the Ni No Kuni 2 screenshots, the world that we’ll be traveling through is a colorful and vibrant place, filled with NPCs and interesting locales, whether it’s a city center filled with neon lights, golden fields of grass outside of a town, or in the middle of a desert.

Along with all of the different locales, there also looks to be a ton of different enemies in the game, especially when it comes to those on the large side. Even in just these screenshots you can see a ton of different large, dragon-looking enemies that are most likely bosses, meaning you’re likely in for a fight when you come across them.

Ni No Kuni: Wrath of the White Witch got critical acclaim when it released on the Playstation 3 back in 2013. With Revenant Kingdom coming out for the Playstation 4 and PC when it releases in March, hopefully it can repeat the success of Wrath of the White Witch and lead to even more Ni No Kuni games in the future.
