Devil May Cry 5 is one of the most anticipated games that we saw at E3 2018 and while we have already talked about some of the details regarding the game and the characters, here we have some new information that you might find interesting.
While we already knew that V would have a part to play in the game but developers have now confirmed that V will be a playable character. Other than that 60 FPS is going to be a standard and the focus of the game is on photorealism and consistent 60 fps for a high-speed battle feel.
We talked about Capcom scanning models in order to make the characters in Devil May Cry 5 as real as possible and we have even looked at the models on which Nero and Dante are based but it seems that Capcom is taking things to the next level and scanning not only models but clothes as well. This is very interesting indeed.
Previous games focused on responsiveness and players were able to cancel animations but that will not be the case in Devil May Cry 5. According to the devs, if the same thing was implemented in Devil May Cry 5 with photorealistic graphics then it would be very strange to look at. This does mean a slower response but the team is working on finding a way to keep the photorealism graphics as well as the fast response. The final result should be very interesting indeed.
The game setting is a few years after DMC4 because Capcom wanted Nero to be at the top of his game both in mind and body. Other than that devs have confirmed that there is a reason why Dante has a wild look. This seems to be some kind of a secret and it might be possible that we will need to play the game in order to find out what is going on.
The devs also talked about how the music in the background will change depending on the combos that you are pulling off. This might be some kind of motivation for the player to try new things. This could also mean that unless you pull off a cool move you will be stuck with the same music. For more information regarding Devil May Cry 5 stay tuned to SegmentNext.
