The time has almost come for NBA 2K18 and 2K is still teasing features that we are going to see in the game. Apart from the all new visuals and fresh mode MyGM: The Next Chapter, the company teased two guest star commentators for your NBA matches.
The 5x NBA Champion Kobe Bryant and NBA Champion Kevin Garnett will be “joining the ranks” of NBA 2K18 as commentators in the booth on certain occasions. They will not be in the basic casting team yet they will take rotation in the booth commentating on matches and giving personal opinions as you would expect from a classic NBA match. Guest commentators are a part of the rotating commentary teams that was first featured in last year’s edition of the game.

Whether or not Bryant And Kevin Garnett will be featured on any match or just some significant ones remain to be seen. Let’s not forget that the studio has revealed that the game will include all time teams for 30 franchises, with all the best players we’ve seen throughout NBA’s years.
NBA will rock Kyrie Irving on its cover but not with his new Boston Celtics uniform. 2K will release a new version of the game, where Irving has his current uniform as soon as his transfer is completed. The makes NBA 2K18 one of the most versatile videogames right now, with constant changes that take place as soon as they happen in the “real life” NBA scene. For Canada, the cover will feature DeMar DeRozan while For the Legends edition of the game will we find the cover honoring Shaquille O’Neal.
NBA 2K18 will have it’s official release on September 19 for Playstation 4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, Playstation 3 and Xbox 360.
