How to Use Minecraft Console Commands and Cheats

Once you are in the world, you need to press the ‘C’ key in order to bring up a command bar in which you need to enter all your Minecraft Cheat Codes. One important thing that you need to know is to ensure that your desired console command is prefixed by a forward slash or /. Once you have entered a correct command prefixed by /, simply hit the ‘Enter’ key to see the effect.

Help
/help [Command]
Details a particular command and its effect.

Give
/give [Amount] [DataValue]
This allows you to give another player an items or items from your inventory.

Teleport
/tp [Player]
This command should allow you to teleport you or another player to your desired location.

Kill
/kill
Allows you to kill your character or another player by adding his/her name to the command.

Weather
/weather
Allows you to change the weather or world.

Creative Mode
/gamemode creative
It enables flight, unlimited resources, and prevents mobs from attacking you.

Survival Mode

It allows mobs to attack you and you must collect resources and everything.

Set Time
