Xbox One X games lineup at launch is going to be the biggest in the history of any new console, according to Microsoft’s Aaron Greenberg. Speaking in a recent interview, he stated that Xbox One X is to release with the largest games lineup.
What’s interesting is that Microsoft calls Xbox One X an upgrade for the hardcore fans but then goes ahead and refers to it as a new console while marketing its games lineup, which is, in fact, Xbox One’s games lineup upgraded to 4K.
We’re close to 120 today and by the time we get to launch who knows what that list will look like. The Xbox One X will launch with a larger games library than any new console launch in history.
Greenberg went on to say that events for Xbox One X games are really important as it is crucial to have 4K enhanced games in people’s hands before release. The console was present at E3 2017 as well as Gamescom where players tried out the enhanced Xbox One X games.
Events for this console are more important than ever, you have to see and experience what true 4K looks like, you can’t get that watching a YouTube video on your mobile phone. So we have 70 playable stations here at gamescom running games on Xbox One X.
Xbox One X will be available on November 7, 2017, in the US and will be priced at $499 and will come with games such as Gears of War 4, Forza Motorsport 7, Halo 5, Shadow of War, Assassin’s Creed Origins and more.
Microsoft’s new console is doing well pre order wise. Xbox One X is making quite a buzz as the console has been selling really well at retailers and Gamestop is very happy with Xbox One X pre-orders.
