If you are playing Metal Gear Solid 5 The Phantom Pain, you might have heard that it is facing problems on certain CPUs when it comes to launching the game.
However, the developers are working around the clock and we already have a beta patch (a hotfix of sorts) that attends to one of the most common problems that fans are facing.
The Metal Gear Solid 5 The Phantom Pain beta patch version 1.002 has addressed the problem where the game was not launching on Phenom II as well as Athlon II as well as all other CPUs that don’t support SSE4.1 – this also includes Core2 DUO.
Apparently, this is the only problem fixed by Konami so far although a number of other issues still remain unresolved. For instance we have picked up complaints regarding a black screen that appears in Chapter 1 of the game.
