Bioware has revealed a lot of details about their upcoming game Mass Effect Andromeda but the fans are still a little bit worried that the developers have not revealed much of its lore or background. Those of you who want to learn about the game’s universe can get their fix with Mass Effect Novels.
Titan Books are releasing a trilogy of Mass Effect Novels in collaboration with Bioware. Mass Effect: Nexus Uprising is the first Mass Effect novel that will be released in the series and it will be written by Jason M. Hough and K.C. Alexander. This first Mass Effect Effect novel will be available on March 8, 2017.

According to the publisher, the first novel will be a sort of backstory for Ryder, who is the protagonist of Mass Effect: Andromeda. The book will be telling the story of how Ryder landed in the Andromeda galaxy.
The second Mass Effect novel is expected to arrive in fall 2017, which means the release date for the third novel is anyone’s guess.
Bioware has repeatedly said that Mass Effect: Andromeda will be telling a self-contained story and it is not a start of a new trilogy but it seems that the studio might be considering a sequel to the game as creative director Mac Walters has suggested fans keep their Mass Effect: Andromeda saves after completing the game.
Also, Mac Walters recently revealed that Bioware might include new squadmates and characters to the game through DLCs and explained that the studio aims to add these with full-fledged expansions.
Mass Effect Andromeda is an open-world action adventure RPG in development at Bioware and will launch in March 2017 for PC, Xbox One and PlayStation 4.
