There are at least six new untitled movies in the works for “Phase Four” of the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU) by Marvel Studios.

According to an official announcement from earlier today, the schedule (subject to change) covers three releases in 2021 and 2022 each. This includes a release in May, July, and November for the former; and February, May, and July for the latter. The roadmap is fairly similar to how the MCU unfolded in the past two years.

Marvel Studios has so far refrained from giving away any details about what to expect from Phase Four down the line. Hence, the situation leaves fans to only speculate about the upcoming mystery releases.

Spider-Man: Homecoming 2 will start the ball rolling for Phase Four when it opens in theaters on July 5, 2019. It will be followed by Guardians of the Galaxy 3 and the standalone Black Widow movie in 2020 unless something changes. In that light, the six untitled movies listed for 2021 and 2022 could possibly feature sequels to Black Panther, Doctor Strange, Thor, Iron Man, Captain America, and Captain Marvel. That being said, the sequels to Black Panther and Doctor Strange could also be moved earlier into 2020.

For the time being, fans of the MCU can enjoy Black Panther in theaters. There is also Avengers: Infinity War steaming in earlier than expected on April 27.

In the meantime, fans can enjoy Black Panther, which is in theaters now. Avengers: Infinity War lands in theaters on April 27, and Ant-Man and The Wasp soars into theaters on July 6, followed by Ant-Man and the Wasp on July 6.
