Batman: Arkham VR brings Batman back to after Arkham Knight. This will probably be the last time we’ll see Batman before takes a break, a long one.
It is a different experience and more focused on the detective side of Batman, all in VR. And according to the latest we heard about the game from Rocksteady Studios Brand Marketing Producer, Dax Ginn, Batman VR is about 2.5 hours long.
The core narrative is about 60 minutes in duration, however additional content is unlocked that provides about another 90 minutes of gameplay on top of that. So there are plenty of reasons to play through the game multiple times in order to see everything that we have put into it.
Batman Arkham VR will release for PlayStation VR only via PlayStation Store. The game releasing this month alongside PlayStation VR.
PlayStation VR is coming out for $399 in little over a week.
Sony’s main rival, Microsoft, is keeping itself distant from VR and is instead focusing on Augmented Reality. It is working on a $3000 device called HoloLens that bring the virtual world to you.
According to Microsoft, the world isn’t ready for HoloLens and they will make the same mistakes as they did with Kinect.
