Microsoft is bringing us a new Xbox Avatar system for Xbox Live. The system has been on the cards for some time now but this is the first leak we had, giving us a look at things to come.
A video was posted recently on YouTube but now removed, gives us a look at the level of customization diversity. The video was posted by a former Microsoft designer.

The new system allows you to customize your body, hair, face, makeup, limps, with various colors. You will also be able to purchase additional items for your Avatar. It is a pretty detailed system, you can go as far as customizing your fingernails.
Items for your current Avatar won’t be supported under the system but you can definitely import your Avatar over to the new system. Users will be able to try out the new Xbox Avatar system later this month.
