The industry, the media and the fans are counting the days for the launch of the new title of Kojima Productions, Death Stranding. A delivery that will allow us to see the proposals and scope of Hideo Kojima away from Konami. This also means that the surprises prior to their debut will be the order of the day.
One day before the embargo is released for reviews, there will be an announcement made by the creative. Through a publication on the Twitter account of PlayStation France, they announced that within the framework of Paris Games Week 2019, an event will be held from October 30 to November 3. Hideo Kojima will be there and will reveal a related surprise with Death Stranding.
Specifically, it will be on October 30 during the presentation of PlayStation that the creative will take the stage and try to surprise the world of video games with his announcement, which will be given just a few hours, as mentioned above, after the embargo is released for reviews of Death Stranding.
On October 30th at 2:45 pm: Hideo Kojima will be on the stage of our PlayStation PGW space for a Death Stranding surprise, followed by a one-hour photo shoot with his fans. Be on time!
In other news, something that is already confirmed is that several celebrities will appear in the game as non-playable characters, such as Geoff Keighley and Conan O’Brien.
After knowing this, several players wonder what other celebrities were invited and recently it was confirmed that Cliff Bleszinski and Cory Barlog will not be part of the project. The revelation was via Twitter, after Hideo Kojima announced that comedian O’Brien was invited to Kojima Productions to be scanned and later included in the game.
On this platform, Bleszinski revealed that he rejected Kojima’s invitation to appear in the game. But do not think it was because he did not want it, but this happened because the invitation came to the old designer of Gears of War at an unfortunate moment in his life, because he was in the middle of the problems with Boss Key Productions studio.
During Kojima’s presentation at the Garage Museum of Modern Art in Moscow, Russia, Hideo Kojima addressed the issue related to the NPCs that we will find in Death Stranding and the way we can relate to them and what will happen as the story progresses.
In that sense, the creative said that there is the possibility that the NPCs in Death Stranding die according to the circumstances of the game and due to the much, little or no attention we put on them and their needs.
Although there is still no official information on the PlayStation Store about the game size, a promotional image that appeared in Best Buy details that it will be necessary for the user to have at least 55 GB of free storage on their hard drive. As you can see, it is a considerable weight, but nothing out of the ordinary in relation to high level productions.
To put the weight of Death Stranding into context, we remind you that Gears 5 requires 61.21 GB of space to install and Borderlands 3 asks for 40.06 GB free on the hard drive, as read in the Microsoft store. I remind you that Death Stranding will be on sale from November 8 exclusively for PlayStation 4.
