Last month during E3 2016 Injustice 2 was revealed, since then devs have been dropping details for the game. This time Ed Boon has given some new teaser about Injustice 2 characters and confirmed one character that will be appearing in the game.
Ed Boon is director for both Injustice 2 and Mortal Kombat X, and he has teased some details about the games during Comic Con 2016. Firstly, Ed Boon teased about Injustice 2 Character roster. We all know Flash will be included in the game, but Boon has said that Flash’s arch nemesis, Zoom, Beast boy, Red Hood and Suicide Squad members might also be featured in Injustice 2.
According to Boon, Zoom will definitely show up in the game, and Suicide Squad members may show up in DLC. Boon just teased the fans with Beast Boy, but he did said that Red hood have been requested as much as Blue Beetle. Wonder Woman and Blue Beetle have been confirmed to be playable Injustice 2 characters.
The Injustice 2 characters might feature close to 30 different fighters, which will be the biggest character roster to be features in any DC game. All the characters will have alternative outfits, however, some characters will have outfits that will unlock new sets of abilities.
In related news, while NetherRealm Studios is focusing on bringing the Injustice to Xbox One and PlayStation 4. The studio has confirmed that the game will also release for smartphones and tablets once the game has released on consoles. The studio also said that there is a possibility for a PC version of the game.
While the game will release next year, according to Ed Boon the DLC for Injustice 2 is already planned. And while there will be many playable Injustice 2 characters, many more will be included through DLC.
Injustice 2 is a fighting game based on DC comics characters, and will release some time in 2017 for Xbox One and PlayStation 4.
