Hyrule Warriors is not only about cutting down hordes of enemies and bringing about the destruction of evil forces posing imminent danger over the land of Hyrule, but it also encourages exploration and asks you to find various collectibles scattered throughout the game.

Hyrule Warriors Gold Skulltulas Locations
Gold Skulltula is a collectible which only appears for a while, and disappears afterwards. If by any chance you miss collecting any of them, you’ll have to replay a stage to make it reappear.
Every time a Gold Skulltula appears on the battlefield, you’ll receive a notification on your screen. You need to travel to the area marked by spiderweb on your mini-map and search the area for it.
The Armies of Ruin: Hyrule Field
Skulltula #1 – Only in Hard Mode
After Zelda prays to the Great Fairy, get to the area near the Hyrule Castle and travel to the right side. You’ll find the collectible on top of a wall. Remember that you need to be playing with Link and have his Knight’s Sword to get this.
Skulltula #2
Once you reach the 1,000 KO points, head over to the top of the Hyrule Castle Keep and travel to the southern side of the Abandoned Keep’s entrance.
The Sheikah Tribesman: Eldin Caves
Skulltula #3
After killing 1,000 enemies, travel to the area beneath Stone Square Keep and enter the tunnel there. While in the tunnel, travel to the east side and toss a bomb at the boulder to reveal the Skulltula.
Skulltula #4 – Only in Hard Mode
There are some conditions to make this Skulltula appear: you need to be playing with Impa and must protect all Bombchus while fighting with Wizzro.
Once you’ve done that, travel to the north side of the Crystal Cave Keep and use your Hookshot to reach a nearby ledge containing the Skulltula.
Sorceress of the Woods: Faron Woods
Skulltula #5
After cutting down 1,000 enemies, travel to the Western Tree Keep and stick to the road on the west side of its south exit gate. Keep on travelling and you’ll come across a boulder blocking the way. Toss a bomb at this boulder and reveal the Skulltula.
Skulltula #6 – Only in Hard Mode
To make this Skulltula appear, you need to drop down the Gohma’s HP to about fifty percent. As soon as it appears, travel to the area located on the west side of the Great Fairy’s Fountain.
Do note that you’ll need Hookshot and Link’s Fire Rod to make the Skulltula appear.
The Sorceress of the Valley: Valley of Seers
Skulltula #7 – Only in Hard Mode
This one can be really hard to acquire since it requires you to take out Volga within three minutes after the scenario commences.
After doing this, you need to drop the HP of Manhandla to about fifty per cent and take out the Manhandla Stalk. Once you’ve done all this, get to the central ruins and look for the Skulltula near the stairway.
Skulltula #8
After reaching 1,000 KOs, get to the West Temple Keep and enter through the entrance on the south side. You’ll come across the Skulltula in plain sight.
Land of Twilight: Twilight Field
Skulltula #9
After reaching 1,000 KOs, travel to the right side of the South-eastern Keep and the collectible will be near a house.
Skulltula #10 – Only in Hard Mode
Take out Midna as soon as she appears and gain control of the Bridge Keep to make the Skulltula appear. The collectible will appear near the northern side of the Bridge Keep.
The Shadow King: Palace of Twilight
Skulltula #11
After killing 1,000 foes, head over to the North Palace Keep and travel to the left side of this area. You need to toss a bomb on the large rock to reveal the collectible.
Skulltula #12 – Only in Hard Mode
You need to take out Argorok without losing more than fifty per cent of your total HP to make the Skulltula appear near the southern side of the Enemy Base Keep.
Land of Myth: Death Mountain
Skulltula #13 – Only in Hard Mode
This is, hands down, one of the hardest Skulltulas to find in the entire game. In order to receive it, you need to take out Darunia twice and complete 1,500 KOs before the gate opens.
After completing both these conditions, the gate to the keep will open up and the Skulltula will spawn in the room going to the keep.
Skulltula #14
After taking out 1,000 enemies, travel to W. Boulder Keep and use your Hookshot to reach the area above the keep and get the collectible.
The Water Temple: Lake Hylia
Skulltula #15
After reaching 1,000 Kos, travel to the left side of the Temple Face Keep and check behind the Wall of Vines to get this collectible. Do note that you’ll need to use your Boomerang to get through the vines.
Skulltula #16 – Only in Hard Mode
For this collectible, you need to rescue Sheik and get to the SW Room Keep. You’ll have to take out King Dodongo in less than 180 seconds. Killing King Dodongo within 180 seconds successfully will make the Skulltula appear near the north side of the Mine Keep.
Land in the Sky: Skyloft
Skulltula #17 – Only in Hard Mode
For this collectible, you need to stop Ghirahim from entering into the Allied Base. After defeating him, keep on playing the scenario and once you activate the Magic Circle in the Fairy Fountain, travel to the south side of the Central Square Keep to find this collectible.
Skulltula #18
After completing 1,000 KOs, travel to the Goddess Statue Keep and get over to the southeast side of the area. In this area, you’ll come across a large rock which you need to bomb to make the Skulltula appear.
Sealed Ambition: Sealed Grounds
Skulltula #19 – Only in Hard Mode
You need to take out the Imprisoned within fifteen minutes and protect the keeps. Once you’ve done that, head inside the Ghirahim’s stronghold and check near the east side of the area to find it.
Skulltula #20
After reaching 1,000 KOs, travel to the area at the middle of the East Cannon Keep and East Keep. The Skulltula is pretty well hidden behind a Wall of Vines and can be accessed using a Boomerang.
The Sacred Sword: Temple of the Sacred Sword
Skulltula #21 – Only in Hard Mode
While playing as Fi, you need to take out 2,000 foes and locate all Sealed Statues without any Special Attack. After this, take out Wizzro – you’ll find Wizzro in the Chamber of the Master Sword.
The Skulltula will also spawn in the Chamber of the Master Sword, near the main entrance.
Skulltula #22
After reaching 1,000 KOs, you need to travel to the Northern Abandoned Keep. Once there, stick to the right side of the keep and you’ll come across a large rock. You need to blow up this rock to make the Skulltula appear.
A War of Spirit: Temple of Souls
Skulltula #23
After reaching 1,000 KOs, you need to travel to the SW Magic Keep and stick to the wall on the west side. You’ll notice a small opening in this wall – you need to blow up this wall using the bombs to acquire the Skulltula.
Skulltula #24 – Only in Hard Mode
While exiting the area, take out any Captain blocking your way and keep your peeled for Zelda. After exiting the map, travel to the East Garden Keep to find the Skulltula.
Do note that, you should gather the Skulltula before taking out the Ganondorf.
Shining Beacon: Valley of Seers
Skulltula #25 – Only in Hard Mode
This Skulltula is again one of the hardest collectibles to gather. To get this, you need to take out Volga at least twice while keeping all of your allies alive.
After defeating him, activate the Magic Circle in the Fairy Fountain. As for the location of the Skulltula, it will appear directly above the West Sanctum Keep.
Skulltula #26
To get this, you need to travel to the East Sanctum Keep and get to the east side of the area. You’ll have to bomb a large rock to make the Skulltula appear.
Ganondorf’s Return: Gerudo Desert
Skulltula #27 – Only in Hard Mode
This Skulltula requires quite a lot of conditions, but you can complete them in any given order. To get this collectible, you’re required to take out all Lizalfos Captains, Aeralfos Captains, gain hold of all enemy keeps, and defeat two giant bosses.
Ideally, you need to maximize the number of possessed keeps and killed Captains before entering the Sacred Grounds Keep.
Skulltula #28
After reaching the required KOs, travel to the Arbiter’s Keep and stick to the east side of the area. You need to enter the corridor in the east side to get the collectible.
March of the Demon King: Valley of Seers
Skulltula #29
After reaching 1,000 KOs, travel to the northeast side of the main battleground. You’ll come across a large boulder lying in a corner. Toss a bomb at the boulder to reveal the Skulltula – kill it to claim the collectible.
Skulltula #30 – Only in Hard Mode
To get this collectible, you must take out all fake Impas before killing the real Impa – this is very crucial. To make it a little easier, note that the real Impa will always be near the location of West Ruins Keep.
Another thing to keep in mind is that the real Impa is equipped with Giant Blade instead of Naginatas. After fulfilling the conditions, travel to the Enemy Base Keep and check the area near the northeast side to claim the reward.
Battle of the Triforce: Hyrule Field
Skulltula #31
After reaching the 1,000 KOs, travel to the East Field Keep and stick to the east side of the outer-area. Keep on following the path and you’ll come across a large boulder in the area. Toss a bomb at the boulder and grab the collectible.
Skulltula #32 – Only in Hard Mode
This Skulltula will only appear while you’re playing as Ganondorf. While playing as the Ganondorf, defeat both Link and Zelda at least four times while they are present on the battlefield at the same time.
Enduring Resolve: Gerudo Desert
Skulltula #33
You need to clear out the enemies in such a manner that you reach your 1,000 KOs before travelling inside the Arbiter’s Keep. As for the location of the Skulltula, it will appear at the threshold of the S.
Desert Keep – near the west entrance to be exact.
Skulltula #34 – Only in Hard Mode
You need to reach 2,000 KOs and your HP must be above at least thirty per cent to make this Skulltula appear.
After both these conditions are fulfilled, travel to the area above the west side of the Arbiter’s Keep and toss a bomb on the large boulder in the area to find the Skulltula beneath it.
Liberation of the Triforce: Ganons Tower
Skulltula #35
After reaching 1,000 KOs, you need to travel to the Fairy Fountain Keep. In Fairy Fountain Keep, you’ll come across a large boulder with the Gold Skulltula hiding underneath it. Blow up the boulder and kill the Skulltula to acquire the collectible.
Skulltula #36 – Only in Hard Mode
While playing as Darunia, you need to check your friends from moving away and defeat Ganondorf before giving the possession of the Castle Keep to him.
Once you’ve done it all, travel to the Castle Keep and keep on checking the area on the south side to find this collectible.
