Unlocking and playing with your favorite characters is one of the most fun part of Naruto Shippuden: Ultimate Ninja Storm Revolution.
With over 100 playable/support characters, the process of unlocking these characters involves a lot of grinding and requires you to put in a great deal of effort and time.
How to Unlock Characters
Characters in Naruto Shippuden: Ultimate Ninja Storm Revolution are unlocked by earning the in-game currency known as Ryo. Do note that there is no shop to buy these characters as these are automatically unlocked after reaching a certain milestone.
By an educated guess, it roughly takes around 1.7 million Ryo to unlock every character in the game across all game modes. You can go with Ninja World Tournament and Ninja Escapades to start earning Ryo.
Players with Naruto Storm 3 Full Burst game save files on their systems will let them receive some amount of Ryo right off the bat.
However, like I’ve mentioned above, going with this way will take quite a long time to unlock each character. Therefore, we’ve discovered a couple of ways using which you’ll be able to earn tons of Ryo in a matter of hours.
Ultimate Jutsu Type
For this method, you need to select the Free Battle option followed by selecting VS Battle mode. After that select 1P VS 2P and commence a single match.
Once you’re on the character selection screen, press Start Button to open up a menu and push the handicap slider to the farthest right side. Once this is done, return to the character selection screen and select Sage Naruto, Ultimate Jutsu Type.
Choose any character for the second player and start the battle. Once the battle begins, use the left d-pad and down d-pad items and Rasenshuriken as the battle finisher.
You need to keep on repeating this process by re-matching with the same opponent until you have your desired amount.
Awakening Type
For this method, you need to follow the same procedure as above until the character selection screen. At the character selection screen, select Sage Naruto, Awakening Type. Once again, select any character for the second player and start the battle.
Once the battle starts, use the left d-pad and down d-pad items and use Rasengan Barrage jutsu followed by using left d-pad and down d-pad items again.
Next thing you need to do is to Awaken and use jutsu twice. Keep on repeating this process until you have your desired amount.
Sure, this process is monotonous, but then again, earning Ryo the legit way takes a lot of time.
