E3 is around the corner and every day there’s something interesting to know about the games we love whether its a leak or something from the developers. The latest information is about Hitman 2 which is in works by Warner Bros and IO.
Earlier today, the official Twitter account of Hitman game sent out a cryptic message that reveals a countdown towards something being announced on June 7, which is the same day that Warner Bros. is holding a pre-E3 2018 event.
The Tweet reads access denied and reveals the date with a blurred out image of a person standing. The description of the Tweet can also refer to the next target in the game series but we will have to find out more.
Afterward, we saw another interesting Tweet from Warner Bros. which shows us a race car with Hamson brand on it.
As you can see from the Tweet, it looks like a racing game due to NASCAR-esque imagery but things got more interesting when a Hitman 2 logo appeared on the official sitemap which got removed shortly.
Talking about the Tweet, the Hamsun brand logo on the car can also refer to fictitious oil company shown in Hitman season 1.
So there are many possibilities and it looks like Hitman is really the game to be announced as the logo looks solid.
The Hitman series is a long-running franchise which was originally created by IO Interactive and still continues to be developed by the company. IO Interactive was owned by Square Enix before they sold it to Warner Bros.
Hitman games have always received a positive response and due to the brand image of the company, it will not come as a surprise to know that IO is working with Warner Bros. on another game in the series.
