Halo 6 developer 343i is not ready to reveal the game just yet but says the team passionately working on it. According to Halo community manager Brian Jarrard, it was frustrating for the community not to see Halo 6 at E3 2017 but they wish to take their time with this one.
343i confirmed that Halo will have its grand moment in the limelight again but fans would need to be patient. Speaking through a blog post, Jarrad stated that it is nice to have a breather for once.
Really, we’re all passionate about Halo … and we want to root for the franchise we love and have always associated with Xbox platforms and keynotes,” he said. “Don’t worry, Halo will have its grand moments again for sure, but it’s actually kind of nice to have a breather and let the team stay heads down working on what’s next that’ll be ready when it’s ready
What’s interesting is that Phil Spencer recently visited Halo developer 343i and Gears of War developer The Coalition to check out what they were working on. Phil Spencer took a look at the projects these studios are working on and according to him, he has seen some “wonderful things.” Microsoft is not known for supporting new IPs lately so it is safe to say both of its leading studios are working on the next iterations of Halo and Gears of War.
Halo 6 is rumored to release on Xbox One, Xbox One X, and Windows 10 sometime in 2019.
