While Microsoft is committed with the PC gaming community as it is bringing its Xbox exclusives to PC. However, Halo is one franchise that Microsoft hasn’t announced for PC but it seems that things are about to change as apparently, Halo 5 PC is happening.
The hint that Halo 5 PC is happening comes from the updated banner for the game at Amazon. As noted by DSOGaming, the updated “Xbox One Console Exclusive” banner for Halo 5 is used when a game is to launch for both Xbox One and PC.
Not only that, that older banner for the game stated that “Only On Xbox One” while the updated one states “Xbox One exclusive”. While it is nothing substantial but it does indicate that Microsoft might be looking to bring Halo 5 PC ahead of Halo: Infinite.
Also, this is not the first time something has popped up suggesting that Halo 5 PC is happening as previously the official Xbox website listed the game for Xbox One and Windows 10 which was later buried with a statement that it was just an error.
However, until Microsoft officially confirms Halo 5 for PC take this rumor as a grain of salt.
Furthermore, Halo: Infinite has been announced as the next entry in the Halo franchise. However, since the game isn’t titled Halo 6 many are wondering that it might be a prequel or a spinoff but 343 Industries has confirmed that Halo: Infinite is a direct sequel to Halo 5, not a spinoff or a prequel.
Not only that, has also confirmed that Infinite will focus primarily on Master Chief as opposed to Halo 5 which focused on Jameson Locke.
The Team also heard feedback loud and clear on The amount of time spent playing as The Master Chief in Halo 5. In Halo Infinite, The game will focus on The Master Chief and continue his saga after the events of Halo 5.
Developer 343 Industries has shown just one trailer for the game that doesn’t give away much other than that the game will be set on a Halo ring. However, speculations are making rounds on the internet suggesting that Infinite will be set on Halo Zeta.
In the trailer, there is a scene in which a radio is beeping inside the tent. The radio is actually broadcasting a morse code, which when decrypted hints that the game is set on Halo Zeta.
Halo 5 is an action-adventure shooter developed by 343 Industries exclusively for the Xbox One.
