Google has already started sign-ups for Project Stream to participate in the tests to stream Assassin’s Creed Odyssey to directly to the desktop. However, you must have an internet connection of 25 Mb/s or above to be eligible.

According to Google, streaming has transformed music and video and has come a long way. However, the video game streaming is nothing like streaming music and video and will be a challenge.

Streaming media has transformed the way we consume music and video, making it easy to instantly access your favorite content. It’s a technically complex process that has come a long way in a few short years, but the next technical frontier for streaming will be much more demanding than video.

Google Project Stream is a technical test that is designed to “push the limits ” of streaming “with one of the most demanding applications for streaming—a blockbuster video game”.

Speaking of Assassin’s Creed Odyssey, early games in the franchise featured multiplayer up until Assassin’s Creed Revelations. After that, Ubisoft completely ignored the multiplayer, however, Ubisoft now wants to bring back multiplayer to Assassin’s Creed franchise.

We have many technologies, so it’s case by case, but Assassin’s Creed has no multiplayer mode, and that is very important for the social aspect of gaming, so we are looking for that. Also, when you want to change something in the world in our games, right now the player has to download 20GB.

Assassin’s Creed Odyssey is an open-world action adventure game developed by Ubisoft and is scheduled to launch on October 5, 2018, for PC, Xbox One and PlayStation 4.
