During E3 Sony started its press conference with the reveal of God Of War, and fans were excited to see the bearded Kratos along with his son.
However, not much details are known about the upcoming God Of War except that it is set in Nordic mythology. However, during the entire gameplay Kratos never refers to his son by his name, so some curious fans asked Santa Monica the name of Kratos’ son.
A fans asked Cory Barlog, creative director at Santa Monica Studio, whether or not the name for Kratos’ son will be revealed before the release of God Of War. To this he responded that he will reveal the name, but they still have not decided the name for the character.

Ever since the reveal of the PlayStation 4 Pro, many fans if the franchise have raised their concern that God Of War might suffer on the original PlayStation 4. However, Sony has clarified that God Of War will not suffer on the original PlayStation 4 as the game is intended for the original PlayStation 4 from beginning.
Recently, Cory Barlog said that PlayStation 4 users might not get their hands on God Of War demo when the game comes out, as the devs have not planned any demo for the game. According to Barlog, not doing a demo actually ends up making the game come out faster, because putting out a demo for people to play actually takes at least a month’s time away from making the main game.
No release date has been announced for God Of War but the game is expected to launch in 2018 exclusively for PlayStation 4.
