God Of War is one of the most anticipated PlayStation 4 exclusives, however, Sony Santa Monica is yet to announce a release date for the game and now a report has made its way on the internet suggesting that God Of War pre-orders are not doing well.
The report comes from Colin Moriarity, who claims that a trusted source has revealed it to him that God Of War pre-orders are not going well. “A trusted industry source tells me that God of War’s PS4 pre-orders are very soft. Sad to hear. I’m still hopeful (and even confident) that it’ll be great, whenever it comes out.”
However, take it as a grain of salt since this is just a rumor and Sony has not revealed any figures regarding the game’s pre-orders.
Also, there is a possibility that the game currently has no release date and fans might be waiting for the reviews for the game to make up their mind. We are hopeful the game will be a good one and will sell well.
In related news, Fans were not pleased when Sony Santa Monica replaced the original Kratos’ voice actor for the upcoming title and the studio has explained why they replaced him. According to the studio, Terrence C. Carson was replaced because of his height.
Doing what we wanted to do with a camera that was never going to cut away, we had a lot of scenes that required two characters to interact physically on the stage. The size difference between Kratos and Terrence is very great.
Furthermore, Cory Barlog, game director for God Of War, has revealed that it will take players 25-30 hours to complete the game.
God Of War is a third-person action adventure game in development at Sony Santa Monica exclusively for PlayStation 4.
